1.                  Call to Order and Roll Call

 

2.                  Opportunity for public comment

Persons wishing to address the Board are requested to receive recognition from the President of the Board, give their name, address and the subject they wish to discuss.

 

3.                  Consider approval of:

a.      The Minutes of the Regular Board of Trustees Meeting held July 15, 2008.

b.     The Minutes of the Special Board of Trustees Meeting held July 29, 2008

 

4.                  Approval of Accounts Payable         

a. Approval of Accounts Payable

          

5.                  Communications:

a.     VCJPA Member and Contingency Fund balances at June 30, 2008

 

6.                  Report from Manager on District Activities.

 

7.                  Discuss Resolution No. 2008-04 Authorizing Signatory Authority for Payment of Bills.

 

8.                  Report from Manager on the District’s web site and authorization to hire a firm to update the District’s web page

 

9.                  Authorization to increase the maximum Compensating-Time-Off (CTO) limit from 280 hours (7 weeks) to 360 hours (9 weeks) to be used annually in the off-season.

 

10.             Accept Updated Report from Manager on the District’s Revenue and Expenditure Report at June 30, 2008. 

 

11.             Sign Board Signature Verification for the Shasta County Auditor’s Office

 

12.          Adopt Vector Control Joint Powers Agency (VCJPA) Model Driver Selection and Vehicle Use Guidelines

 

13.             Board/staff general discussion. Opportunity for Board members to ask questions for clarification, provide information to staff, request staff to report back on a matter, or to direct staff to place a matter on a subsequent agenda.

 

The Board will convene in Closed Session.

 

 

14.             Personnel Matter - Public Employee Evaluation of District Manager pursuant to Government Code section 54957(b).

 

The Board will return to Open Session.
